Times of Peace, Prosperity and Happiness

Halcyon: A bird identified with the Kingfisher, held in ancient legend to nest at sea about the time of the winter solstice, purposely calming the waters while the eggs incubate. Thus "Halcyon" is associated with calm and a golden happiness, which became associated with wealth.

And so it came to be that we named our company Halcyon and the Kingfisher bird forms our logo.

When searching for a name for our company we wanted more then just a name. We searched for something that would conjure up memories of “the good times… of peace, security, happiness, serenity and calmness.” Thus after a long search the ideal name for the company evolved and was adopted.
